Summary: Veronica grew up the only child of a single mom in Chicago. She discovered a love for writing early on devouring any book her mom brought her way. Veronica discusses the social-emotional challenge of overcoming negative feedback from a teacher who questioned whether or not she authored a paper she wrote. Veronica always loved animation and design, but did not have a lot of talent for drawing. Through an internship, she discovered marketing and brought her love of writing to life.
